Read MoreThis module is all about ingesting and organizing your media. We'll deal with the Project Manager and the Media Page.
Now that we've ingested and organized our media, we're moving to the edit page. In this module we'll cover all the fundamentals of working in the edit page and building edits in a timeline. We'll do all that while building visuals with the beautiful b-roll in the media package.
This is another editing module, but this one focuses on techniques that you'll need to work with interviews or other dialog. Turning an hour long interview into the best possible interview you can pack into a 90 seconds requires some very specific skills and techniques.
One last editing module. We need to combine our visuals and interview into a single timeline. Our timeline is going to start getting crowded, so we'll cover even more tools and techniques that will help you keep your edit in order while being creative.
Our edit isn't finished yet, but this is one of the awesome things about DaVinci Resolve, you don't need to wait until your edit is finished to start colour grading. This module will give you an awesome foundation in colour grading with DaVinci Resolve. We'll cover workflow as well as tools and techniques. Knowing why you're using a tool is just as important as knowing how the tool works.
We've got an awesome edit with beautiful visuals. What's missing? Sound! In this module we'll add sound design and cover techniques for mixing dialog and music.
Back to the edit page! Our edit is almost finished, but there's problems that need to be fixed and we need to add some simple graphics. In this module we'll cover things like stabalization, video effects, timeline compositing and more. It's all about finessing our edit so it's ready for delivery.
That's it, our edit is finished! But there's still more to learn. In this module we'll cover things like rendering, sharing, preparing alternative deliveries and more. We'll even talk show how you can take your existing edits from Premiere and continue to work on them in DaVinci Resolve. This might be the last module, but it's just as informative as all the others!
Each lesson is carefully planned and written to the same high quality that you will see on our Youtube Channel. There's notes with each lesson that contains hotkeys and a reminder of the key points.
